HIVresource: Your Guide to Clinical Trials in the San Francisco Bay Area

, by San Francisco AIDS Foundation

hivresource-2014-spring-2HIVresource is a free quarterly newsletter that publishes news and information about HIV-related clinical trials in the San Francisco Bay Area. Clinical trials are an important way for people to access free medical care while also supporting scientific research to advance our understanding of how to identify, treat, and hopefully cure HIV disease.

The latest issue of HIVresource includes ten new studies and two dozen ongoing trials. Study listings run the gamut from PrEP research to gene therapy trials to tests of new treatments for HIV/hepatitis C coinfection, and nearly all offer compensation in addition to free medical treatment.

Is there a locally enrolling study that’s right for you? Download the new issue of HIVresource and find out! To receive HIVresource directly, sign up for a free email or print subscription.
