New PrEP Fact Sheets

, by San Francisco AIDS Foundation

Longtime HIV/AIDS advocacy and policy organization Project Inform has just released two new fact sheets on PrEP: “Is Taking PrEP the Right Choice for You?” for gay and bisexual men (and other men who have sex with men) and transgender women, and “Talking to Patients about Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis,” tailored for HIV prevention workers, case managers, nurses, and other health care and service providers.

The user-friendly fact sheets tackle questions about how PrEP works, the importance of adherence, and who might most benefit from PrEP (and who should steer clear).

Spanish translations are in the works, along with English- and Spanish-language fact sheets for heterosexual women and men.
